لماذا تعمل النماذج الفنية أصلاً؟
قبل أن تحفظ شكل أي نموذج، يجب أن تفهم لماذا يتكرر. النموذج الفني ليس رسمة سحرية على الشارت، بل هو بصمة سلوك البشر وهم يتداولون: الخوف، الطمع، التردد، والاستسلام. هذه المشاعر لا تتغير منذ مئة سنة، لذلك الأشكال التي ترسمها على الشارت لا تتغير أيضاً.
عندما يصل السعر إلى منطقة اشترى منها الناس سابقاً وخسروا، يتذكرون الألم ويبيعون عند أول فرصة للخروج بلا خسارة. وعندما يكسر السعر قمة كان الجميع يراقبها، يدخل المتأخرون خوفاً من ضياع الفرصة. كل نموذج فني في هذا الكتاب هو ترجمة بصرية لواحدة من هذه القصص.
النموذج = معركة بين البائعين والمشترين
انظر إلى أي نموذج على أنه ملخص معركة. المثلث الصاعد مثلاً يقول لك: المشترون يرفعون قيعانهم في كل موجة (يزدادون شجاعة)، بينما البائعون متمركزون عند سقف ثابت. عندما ينكسر السقف، تكون المعركة قد حُسمت — وهذا هو المكان الذي تهتم به أنت كمتداول.
النبوءة التي تحقق نفسها
هناك سبب إضافي لنجاح النماذج: ملايين المتداولين يراقبون نفس الشيء. عندما يرى الجميع نموذج رأس وكتفين واضحاً على فريم يومي لزوج مشهور، فإن قسماً كبيراً منهم سيبيع عند كسر خط العنق. بيعهم الجماعي بحد ذاته يدفع السعر نزولاً. النموذج نجح جزئياً لأن الناس صدّقوه.
هذا يعطيك قاعدة عملية مهمة: النموذج الواضح على فريم كبير أقوى من النموذج الغامض على فريم صغير. كلما زاد عدد العيون التي ترى نفس الشكل، زادت قوة رد الفعل عليه.

Why Do Chart Patterns Actually Work?
Before you memorize the shape of any pattern, you need to understand why it repeats. A chart pattern is not a magic drawing on the screen — it is a footprint of human behavior: fear, greed, hesitation, and capitulation. These emotions have not changed in a hundred years, and that is why the shapes they paint on the chart have not changed either.
When price returns to a zone where people bought and then suffered, they remember the pain and sell at the first chance to get out flat. When price breaks a high that everyone was watching, latecomers rush in for fear of missing out. Every pattern in this book is a visual translation of one of these stories.
A Pattern Is a Battle Between Buyers and Sellers
Look at any pattern as a battle summary. An ascending triangle, for example, tells you: buyers keep raising their lows on every wave (they are getting bolder), while sellers defend one fixed ceiling. When that ceiling breaks, the battle has been decided — and that is the moment you care about as a trader.
The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy
There is another reason patterns work: millions of traders are watching the same thing. When everyone sees a clean head and shoulders on the daily chart of a major pair, a large share of them will sell when the neckline breaks. Their collective selling itself pushes price down. The pattern worked partly because people believed it.
This gives you a practical rule: a clear pattern on a higher timeframe is stronger than a vague pattern on a small one. The more eyes see the same shape, the stronger the reaction to it.
The Three Golden Rules of This Book
Every coming chapter stands on these three rules. Memorize them now — we will repeat them often:
- Context before shape: the same pattern means different things in different places. A double top after a long rally is a strong signal; the same shape in the middle of a sideways range is worthless noise.
- No trade without confirmation: a pattern is only "complete" when price breaks its decisive level (the neckline, the triangle boundary, the range ceiling). Entering before completion is guessing, not trading.
- The pattern finds the opportunity; risk management keeps you alive: the best pattern in the world fails sometimes. Your stop loss and correct position size are what turn a failure into a scratch instead of a fatal wound.
How to Read This Book
